Alice Ripley won the 2009 Tony award and Helen Hayes award for her performance as Diana Goodman in the Pulitzer Prize-winning rock opera Next To Normal. For nearly three decades Alice has been a veteran of Broadway, regional and off-broadway stages, having starred in the original casts of six Broadway shows; The Who’s Tommy (1993), Sunset Boulevard (1994), King David (1997), Side Show (1997), James Joyce’s The Dead (2000), and
The Rocky Horror Show (2000). and regularly performs her club act in cabarets around
the country.
Alice currently has four Indie films in post production, including SUGAR!, where she stars as a mom who rises to fame in a small town rock band. In the past year, Ms. Ripley taught Master Classes in Huntsville (Alabama), Atlanta, Cleveland, San Diego and New York City, while continuing to perform onstage in musicals and concerts around the world.
