Bio

Jennifer Apple is an actor, singer, teaching artist, and coach who hails from NYC! She currently plays the role of Anna in Tony Award Winning The Band’s Visit first national tour. She holds a Masters of Fine Arts (MFA) in Acting with a Certificate in Citizen Artistry from the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, CA. 

 

As an actress she has performed at various regional theaters and workshopped a ton of plays and musicals. 

 

Some favorite shows include: Detroit ‘67 and Romeo and Juliet at Chautauqua Theater Company; The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, The Good Woman of Setzuan, The Motherf***er with the Hat, Clickshare, Lungs, A Walk on the Moon and A Christmas Carol at the American Conservatory Theater; The Theory of Relativity at Goodspeed Musicals; Fiddler on the Roof at Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival; Something Funny’s Going On directed by Martin Charnin and Lee Roy Reams. 

 

Some favorite workshops include: Bonhoeffer (dir: Daniel Goldstein); Best Friends (dir: Charlotte Cohn); Untitled Tegan & Sara Musical (dir: Kate Sullivan); Malicious Animal Magnetism (dir: Jeremy Cohen/Dipika Guha); Hamlet (dir: Carey Perloff); Factory Girls (dir: Taylor Haven Holt). 

 

Jennifer has appeared as leads in a few short films and on TV in New Amsterdam.

 

As an Acting Coach, Jennifer believes in honest & truthful storytelling, the power of simply being, and bringing out what makes you, YOU! She specializes in:

She has her own private coaching studio and also teaches masterclasses at various theater programs, high schools, and colleges all over the country. Some places she has taught before: Stages St. Louis, Hennepin Theatre Trust, Case Western Reserve University, Texas Christrian University, Kent State University, Saint Louis University, Davis Academy, Valley Center School, No Marking Society, Under the Arch Incubator, StateraArts, Dazzle Awards, and Broadway Weekends.
